The Utah Jazz surprised a lot of people when they kicked their NBA offseason off by trading away Royce O’Neale to the Brooklyn Nets. They received a first-round pick in return for him and ultimately kick-started their rebuilding process.
Following that deal, the Jazz traded Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a package of five players, four first-round draft picks and a pick swap. One of the players acquired, Patrick Beverley, has already been flipped to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The latest move cemented their status as a rebuilding team, as Donovan Mitchell was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Again, draft compensation was the focus, as they received three unprotected first-round picks and two pick swaps.
With an eye toward the future, Utah has prioritized draft capital as the thing they are seeking most in return packages. They could receive even more draft picks in the coming weeks as there are still numerous veterans on the roster that they are looking to trade.

One of those veterans is Jordan Clarkson. The Sixth Man of the Year award winner for the 2020-21 season is owed $13.3 million for the upcoming season and has a $14.2 million player option for the 2023-24 campaign, so he could ultimately be a rental for whoever acquires him.
That should keep the price relatively cheap, as contending teams will likely line up to acquire the high-scoring guard. Where could he land? Here are three potential trade destinations for Clarkson.
