The firesale is officially open for the Utah Jazz. After completing the Donovan Mitchell blockbuster with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday afternoon, they will continue paring down the roster ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season, getting whatever assets they can in exchange for the veterans on the team.

Danny Ainge is doing what he does best, which is cleaning house once he takes over a front office. The coaching staff was changed earlier this offseason with Will Hardy of the Boston Celtics replacing Quin Snyder. The roster has been undergoing changes for weeks now.

It started when Royce O’Neale was traded to the Brooklyn Nets and continued with the Rudy Gobert megadeal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Who will be next to go? Mike Conley Jr. is someone that will certainly garner some interest.

While it has been shared that the Jazz would like to keep Conley as a veteran mentor for the young guys on the team, if they are presented with a good trade package, their minds could probably be changed.
