Chicago Bulls Receive: F/C Anthony Davis
There’s a lot to unpack here – both in terms of narrative value and basketball. Predictably, we’ll start with the former.
With that said, it’ll be easier said than done. It’s hard to know where to even begin. Perhaps the best starting point is this: if this deal transpired, it wouldn’t be the first time Lonzo Ball and Anthony Davis were traded for each other.
In fact, Ball was a central piece in the return the New Orleans Pelicans received when they traded Anthony Davis to the Lakers.
On the other hand, he won’t be the only player in this deal heading back to Hollywood. Alex Caruso wasn’t involved in that trade, but he’s a former Laker as well.

We don’t think that makes sense for the Bulls. Does this?
