With that in mind, this might not be an easy trade for either side to make. At this juncture, we’ll remind you of an obvious but often overlooked fact. NBA players are, believe it or not, human beings.
Trading one fresh off of signing them to a new contract feels callous. Any of the players involved in this trade would have been within their rights to assume they were signing to play with the team that offered them the deal.
