Sometimes, when someone talks a big game that they can’t back up, we say that they have more bark than bite. Frankly, that’s a cliche that applies to this year’s NBA offseason.
There have been plenty of rumors. If half of them had come to fruition, it might have been the busiest summer in recent memory. Instead, it’s left plenty of NBA fans wanting more.
Granted, it started out hot. The Dejounte Murray trade was a nice appetizer, but the Rudy Gobert trade got us particularly excited for dinner. As it turns out, it may have been the main course.
