In the NBA, there are plenty of important skills to cultivate. Still, one could argue that none is more important than scoring.
The game, as they say, is about a bucket. Defense, playmaking, and more are essential skills, but without players who can produce points, they only go so far.
The Miami Heat have at least one pure bucket-getter in Tyler Herro. Herro might not offer much value in other areas, but he can score on any defense. His ability to create easy shots and hit difficult ones has been a tremendous asset to this organization.
Much of the same could be said about Cleveland Cavalier Collin Sexton. With that said, it doesn’t appear as though the Cavs value his contributions like the Heat do Herro’s.
