There is a good chance that the Boston Celtics aren’t actively looking to move Jaylen Brown, but there could be some hurt feelings that need to be smoothed over. But, you won’t know for sure unless you make a call, which the Memphis Grizzlies should do.

Brown is a 25-year-old that has already reached that All-Star level. He could be the missing piece on the wing that helps elevate the Grizzlies to becoming true contenders in the Western Conference.

Memphis is hoping the young players on the team achieve the level that Brown has reached. So, they take a shortcut and just acquire Brown himself. The price to acquire him is pretty steep, but if the Grizzlies feel they can become contenders, it is worth it.

The toughest piece to part ways with would be Desmond Bane, who has turned into one of the best 3-and-D players in the NBA despite only having two years of experience. Dillon Brooks has had some good moments as well helping get the Grizzlies back on the map.

Danny Green is included for salary purposes, as his $10 million contract is needed to match. His inclusion pushes back the timeline of when this trade can be completed, as he cannot be traded until after August 23rd. Boston is also getting back two first-round picks. While the Grizzlies should be perennial playoff contenders, those picks have a ton of value.
