Generally speaking, there are two distinct schools of thought. Some believe that talent trumps all, and the team who assembles the most gifted “super team” give themselves the best odds at winning it all. Of course, if those stars don’t click, a team can give up tremendous assets to build a group that falls short.
Others will tell you that continuity wins championships. They’ll say that drafting your talent and allowing them to build chemistry is the best approach.
Of course, sometimes, those homegrown teams run into a superteam that stops them dead in their tracks.
