Given they would be risking their long-term future, parting with a player who will be 38 years old next spring in exchange for Irving could be a worthwhile proposition.

Keep in mind that Chris Paul unraveled in the Western Conference Semifinals. There may not be a scenario where he holds up for a successful NBA Finals run at this point.

With another shot creator on the wing and a point guard that can tear apart the defense in his own right, the Suns would be in an incredible position to further the Booker era.
