The Minnesota Timberwolves already parted with theirs. They won’t be able to swing another draft-heavy trade this summer. The Stepien rule won’t allow them to go back-to-back seasons without a first-round pick. With the Jazz owning so many of their selections, that means they don’t have a pick to spare.

At the same time, is Ben Simmons a star player? He’s certainly a star in name, and at many points in his career he’s been a star in terms of production too. Unfortunately, his trade value has taken a serious hit in recent years.
