Why The San Antonio Spurs Do The Deal
Malachai Flynn is a difficult player to put your finger on. The talent is obvious, yet for some reason, something isn’t quite clicking.
After all, Flynn has found himself in and out of Raptors’ Head Coach Nick Nurse’s rotation over the past couple of seasons. He certainly has not been able to establish a distinct role with this team.
Of course, that may be due to the organization’s goals. The Raptors haven’t been serious contenders since Kawhi Leonard departed in free agency, but they haven’t been tanking either.
It’s possible that the 24-year-old Flynn would be better suited for a team in a clear rebuilding phase.
