San Antonio Spurs Receive: F/C Khem Birch, G Malachai Flynn, 2024 First-Round Pick (TOR)
Toronto Raptors Receive: C Jakob Poeltl

In fact, they don’t need starting caliber players at all.
It’s hard to believe it, but the Spurs will be tanking in 2022-23. It’s not a position the organization is very familiar with. In fact, the Spurs have been the league’s model of consistency over the last several decades.
Unfortunately for them, they’ve been consistently mediocre for the last several years. The Spurs appear to be intent on finally breaking that cycle, having traded Dejounte Murray for three first-round picks this summer.
