Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are one of the few title contenders who don’t have a solidified point guard rotation that they feel great about.
Last year’s solution to that problem, Kyle Lowry, didn’t pan out the way that the Miami Heat hoped. This offseason, it appears that the former champion has gotten himself in shape and fully bought into the Heat culture.
That being said, Miami would be wise to come up with some kind of insurance for the 36-year-old who encountered plenty of injuries last season. Schroder is the perfect fit for their backcourt with his tough-nosed point-of-attack defense and ability to play both on and off of the ball.
Even if Lowry stays healthy and elevates his play, Schroder could be a great option for the Miami Heat off of the bench and could play seamlessly alongside uncovered gem, Gabe Vincent.
