In fact, the Jordan Bulls were the most successful team of the modern era. Throughout the decade, teams could only win the championship when MJ decided to take a year off. Unfortunately, the Bulls have struggled to replicate that success ever since.
Last year, they entered the season with a renewed sense of optimism. Having signed DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball to add to a core group featuring Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls had a star-studded cast.
The results were underwhelming, as they won 46 games and got eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

This summer, the Bulls face some questions. Granted, they’re more likely to make marginal upgrades than a sweeping change like this one. At the same time, they could justify a rebuild in light of their mediocre finish in 2021-22.
