LA Clippers Receive: G Mike Conley, F Rudy Gay
Utah Jazz Receive: F Marcus Morris Sr., G Reggie Jackson, 2028 First-Round Pick
The LA Clippers and Utah Jazz are heading in different directions this offseason. While the Clippers are looking to cement themselves as NBA Finals contenders, the Jazz are looking to restock and rebuild the roster.
That could make them good trade partners for each other. Los Angeles could find the missing piece for their roster and Utah has numerous veterans that could fit the bill. If they are looking for a steady contributor at the point guard position, Mike Conley Jr. is their man.
Looking to shed some extra salary, the Jazz includes Rudy Gay in the trade as well.
Looking to not add more long-term salary, Marcus Morris Sr. is heading back to Salt Lake City instead of Luke Kennard. Reggie Jackson, who is on an expiring deal himself, is also heading to the Jazz.
