Let’s be completely honest: Mitchell is likely to end up in a Knicks uniform in 2022-23.
The writing appears to be on the wall. Few teams have as many draft picks to offer as the Knicks. Meanwhile, any teams with a competitive package are less likely to acquire Mitchell.
The Thunder aren’t ready to cash in their chips, and the Pelicans are probably not a great fit for him.
