The Los Angeles Clippers had a strange 2021-22 NBA season. In essence, it was a write-off.
They started the season with Kawhi Leonard on the shelf for the year with an injury. Obviously, they knew that would limit their success for the year. When Paul George went down mid-season, they were basically sunk.
Call it a gap year. Clippers fans are only deserving of so much sympathy – they’ll enter 2022-23 with strong championship odds. After all, the Clippers have one of the most talented teams in the NBA.
With that in mind, they may not have to do much of anything this summer. The Clippers could enter 2022-23 as currently constructed, and nobody would bat an eye.
