Utah Jazz Receive: G/F Caris LeVert
Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: F Bojan Bogdanovic
Nothing much to see here. Just a simple man-for-man swap that benefits both teams on the margins.
Caris LeVert is a somewhat puzzling player. It feels like the word “potential” is regularly attached to his name. With that said, at 28, he may not have much more room to grow.
He’s talented. LeVert can make exceedingly difficult shots, and make plays for his teammates when the mood strikes him. On the other hand, he’s prone to tunnel vision and bouts of extreme inefficiency.
On the other hand, Bojan Bogdanovic is a model of consistency. Teams know what they’re getting from him: elite floor-spacing, secondary shot creation, and subpar defense.

Bogdanovic may not be a point preventer, but he does play within a team concept nicely.
