Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers are another team that is in the early stages of a rebuild. They started the process ahead of the trade deadline when they moved on from Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert and Torrey Craig. Things haven’t stopped in the offseason, as Indiana traded Malcolm Brogdon to the Boston Celtics.
There is a chance that Myles Turner and Buddy Hield are also moved this offseason, adding more future assets to improve the future outlook of the franchise. However, the Indiana Pacers showed that they are willing to spend if there is a player they believe fits what they are looking for.
Indiana agreed to a monster offer sheet with restricted free agent Deandre Ayton. The No. 1 overall pick made no progress on talks with the Phoenix Suns on a contract and found the max contract the Suns wouldn’t offer. Unfortunately for the Indiana Pacers, the deal was ultimately matched.
Another position they could look to splurge at in the near future is small forward. Andrew Wiggins would be an excellent fit in their lineup that is littered with young, high-upside players. Tyrese Haliburton, Chris Duarte, Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson and Jalen Smith are a nice group to build upon.

Wiggins would provide some veteran leadership for a team that could be lacking it, especially if Turner and Hield are traded at some point in the coming weeks.
The Indiana Pacers have never been an easy sell for free agents, but hopefully the group of youngsters they have put together becomes a draw for other players to join up.
