Utah Jazz Receive: F/C Dario Saric, G Landry Shamet, 2023 First-Round Pick (Lottery Protected – PHO)
Phoenix Suns Receive: G Jordan Clarkson
Like the Phoenix Suns, the Utah Jazz have been the subject of plenty of trade rumors of their own this NBA offseason. Unlike the Suns, those rumors don’t have them contending in 2022-23.
In fact, the Jazz were already part of a blockbuster this summer. They traded Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Walker Kessler, and four first-round picks.
That’s an incredible haul. It’s also not the kind of return that’s likely to convince Donovan Mitchell to stay.
Without question, the Jazz will be worse without Gobert in 2022-23.

In other words, they may be due for another blockbuster. If the Jazz do move on from Mitchell this summer, they might as well ship off their remaining veterans.
Are they getting enough back for Clarkson here?
