The Toronto Raptors have been involved in a lot of trade rumors this offseason. The biggest one has been with the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant, as they believe they have a strong package to land the former MVP with.
While that has been the most headline-grabbing of their rumors, there have been plenty of other ones throughout the offseason. OG Anunoby was a popular name on the trade market earlier in the offseason and the team was reportedly looking to upgrade in the middle and had been on the lookout for a center.
Now, another potential trade target has emerged; Bojan Bogdanovic of the Utah Jazz. Utah is on the verge of rebuilding, as they are now open to trading all of their veterans and Donovan Mitchell after parting ways with Royce O’Neale and Rudy Gobert earlier this offseason for a ton of draft capital.
The interest in Bogdanovic was revealed during a recent episode of The Lowe Post Show on ESPN’s PodCenter.
“If the Jazz and Raptors do a trade, I think Bogdanovic would be the guy going to Toronto, not Donovan Mitchell,” said MacMahon. “Just saying.”
“Spicy,” replied Zach Lowe.
“I’ve heard rumblings there,” added MacMahon. Nothing imminent or anything close to it. I think he’s a guy… the Raptors can certainly use a six-foot-eight shooter like Bogdanovic. For the Jazz in a rebuild, they’re obviously trying to move him.”
With that size, Bogdanovic would certainly fit the player profile of the game plan that the Raptors are deploying. They rely on length and athleticism to make up for their lack of size, especially on the defensive end of the court.

Bogdanovic has taken his game to another level since joining the Utah Jazz, as he has averaged 18.4 points per game in three seasons, knocking down 39.7 percent of his 3-point attempts on a healthy 6.8 tries per game. He has also chipped in 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game during that time.
To acquire Bogdanovic, it would likely take a package similar to what O’Neale cost the Nets. A future first-round pick would likely get the job done as the Jazz are looking to load up on as much draft capital as possible.
