The Phoenix Suns are currently putting all of their attention and effort into the pursuit of Kevin Durant. The Brooklyn Nets star requested a trade from the team, and the Suns were one of the NBA teams on his list of preferred landing spots.
Working out a deal is going to take a lot of work as the Nets are looking to land a historic package, which is understandable. Durant remains one of the best players in the league and his contract is guaranteed for the next four seasons.
It is going to take a lot of players and draft picks to acquire him, as the Suns may need a third and potentially even fourth team to help compensate Brooklyn in the way they are expecting. As a result, the Suns need to still be keeping an eye on the free agent market as they could be looking for depth pieces soon enough.
One spot they could look to add some help to is the center position. JaVale McGee left in free agency, signing with the Dallas Mavericks. Starting center Deandre Ayton ended up having his max offer sheet matched, but there is still a need for another big.

Bismack Biyombo was re-signed, which provides some insurance. But, they could use some more help and it could come in the way of DeMarcus Cousins.
Injuries have derailed what was once a dominant career for Cousins, who had a stretch of making four consecutive All-Star games when he was considered arguably the best center in the NBA. While injuries have slowed him down, he has shown that he can still stuff the stat sheet even in limited playing time.
His per-36 minute stats are still impressive as Cousins remains an efficient scorer inside the arc. He keeps defenses honest as a capable 3-point shooter, connecting on 33.1 percent of his attempts in his career.

You can run some offense through him as he is a willing passer and capable playmaker as well. He can be paired with Biyombo as an offensive complement deployed depending on the matchup for that night.
With depth potentially needing to be added soon, the Suns should get out ahead of things and bring on DeMarcus Cousins, who can still be a contributor to any rotation.
