Myles Turner may have spent more time in the trade rumor mill than any other active player in the NBA.

For a long time, that was because of his fit on the Indiana Pacers with teammate Domantas Sabonis. Their twin towers look yielded limited success and appeared to have a ceiling.

Near the 2021-22 trade deadline, the Pacers finally chose between the two. They sent Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton. However, something happened to Turner in the years the Pacers spent making their choice: he aged.

Turner couldn’t help it. Now, he’s 27 on a Pacers team that looks to be gearing towards a rebuild. He’s still got prime years ahead, and the Pacers could justify holding onto him.
