Utah Jazz Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, G/F Moses Moody
Golden State Warriors Receive: C Rudy Gobert
It’s hard to recall many career arches in NBA history like the one Andrew Wiggins has had.
In 2014, Wiggins was selected with the number one pick in the NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Shortly after, he was unceremoniously traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. That set his career off on the wrong foot.
After all, Wiggins was widely regarded as a bust for most of his career. Recently, he’s overcome that narrative. Wiggins was an instrumental part of the Golden State Warriors’ title run this past season.
So instrumental, in fact, that his trade value may now be roughly equal to Rudy Gobert’s. A couple of seasons ago, that would have been unfathomable.
