Other players in the NBA are imminently tradable. That isn’t always because they’re bad. Oftentimes, it’s because they’re good enough to covet, but not too good to move on from.

Malcolm Brogdon is one such player. If he finds his third home in seven years of NBA experience this summer, it’s not an indictment on his career.

Realistically, he’s probably only on the market because the Pacers acquired Tyrese Haliburton. He’s a younger, more talented version of Malcolm Brogdon, and the Pacers will want the ball in his hands in 2022-23.
