Former All-Star guard Victor Oladipo provided the world with one of the best feel-good stories of the 2022 NBA postseason. Now, he could be looking for his next team to play for.

Jake Fischer from Bleacher Report reported that Victor Oladipo has quite a few suitors in free agency and will likely be departing from the Miami Heat, which will include teams like the Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, and Detroit Pistons.

Victor Oladipo is not expected to return to the Heat and is said to have interest from Washington, Denver and Detroit, in the salary range of the taxpayer MLE.

After suffering a potentially career-ending knee injury in 2019 with the Indiana Pacers, the former Indiana Hoosier limped through the 2020-21 regular season that saw him suit up for the three separate teams: the Pacers, the Houston Rockets, and the Miami Heat.

In the end, he only played in 33 total games before going down with a quad injury that would ultimately cost him 11 total months of his career. Oladipo did make a ceremonious return to the Heat before the 2021-2022 regular season ended and arrived with a bang, totaling 11 points and four assists in just 14 minutes played in his debut.

He continued to encounter highs and lows through the remainder of the year, ultimately notching averages of 12.4 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 48 percent from the field and an impressive 42 percent from deep through eight total games played in the 2021-22 regular season.

He saw those efficiency numbers severely regress against the magnified defensive intensity of the playoffs but continued to prove that he can still be an impact player, particularly as a perimeter stopper, as he continued to round into form.

In the playoffs, he notched two games with 23 points, a 19-point outing, and three other showings with double-digit scoring marks, all while playing stellar defense at the point-of-attack.

While he might not make multiple All-Star games in the future, Oladipo did prove that he can still be a high-level contributor to any team with title aspirations. It will be intriguing to see if he will be trying to regain that form as a member of the Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, or a different NBA team altogether.
