These 2 Trades Send Dejounte Murray To Toronto Raptors

Dejounte Murray, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The San Antonio Spurs are entering a very important NBA offseason. The front office has to decide what direction they want to take the roster in. The determining factor in that is how far they believe this current core can go.

There are some very intriguing young players on the roster. Dejounte Murray has ascended into an All-Star. Keldon Johnson gained valuable experience playing for Team USA last summer. Devin Vassell and Josh Primo are two more recent first-round picks with a lot of potential.

Doug McDermott is the only player currently on the roster older than 28-years old. There is a ton of youth and upside on this roster that they could opt to fast-track this offseason. That would mean going after one of the free agents at the top of the market, such as Zach LaVine.

Some people believe the Spurs should go all-in on a rebuild though. There are questions about the ceiling of the current core, and if San Antonio doesn’t believe a winner can be built from it, they can look to trade away their best assets for more building block pieces.
