The Dallas Mavericks filled their void at the center spot, acquiring Christian Wood from the Houston Rockets for the No. 26 overall pick, Boban Marjanovic, Trey Burke, Sterling Brown, and Marqeuse Chriss.
One of the most sought-after players on the market, Jerami Grant of the Detroit Pistons, was also traded. He ended up with the Portland Trail Blazers, which was predicted by a lot of people, but not for the 7th overall pick. Instead, it was a 2025 first-rounder via the Milwaukee Bucks.
