The Sacramento Kings are a team that a lot of people are keeping an eye on in the 2022 NBA Draft. Sacramento was one of the biggest winners of the 2022 NBA Draft Lottery, moving up into the No. 4 overall pick.
Since that was announced, there have been trade rumors swirling about the possibility of the Kings trading that pick. Currently riding a 16-year playoff drought, they are desperate to bring in established talent to help them snap that streak. The No. 4 overall pick could be an excellent bargaining chip to add some impact talent to the roster.
There is no shortage of potential suitors for the Kings to make a deal with. A lot of teams want to trade up to No. 4 with their sights set on a specific player. Trading any higher of that would be very costly and those teams are seemingly locked into their selections with Jabari Smith Jr., Chet Holmgren and Paolo Banchero being the likeliest top-three.
After that, one of Jaden Ivey and Keegan Murray is expected to be selected. There have been some reports that the Kings are warming up to the idea of making the selection themselves, with one of those players being the likely choice.

But, if they decide they want to trade the pick, two teams to keep an eye on are the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. Both teams have their eyes set on Keegan Murray according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.
The Indiana Pacers own the No. 6 overall pick in the draft, Myles Turner and Malcolm Brogdon that they can build a package around. The San Antonio Spurs have three picks in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, No. 9, 20 and 25, which they could look to consolidate.
Keegan Murray would be an excellent fit for both teams with his smooth offensive game and positional versatility. He was showing some signs of figuring things out on the defensive end of the court as well, as he has the tools to turn into a multi-positional stopper.

There could be a lot of movement in the top-10 of the draft this year as the Sacramento Kings are the first of at least three teams looking to acquire more established talent near the top of the draft.
