Indiana Pacers Receive: G Derrick Rose, G/F Cam Reddish
New York Knicks Receive: G Malcolm Brogdon
Deciding between the last two deals comes down to two questions. Who do the New York Knicks prefer between Obi Toppin and Cam Reddish, and who do the Indiana Pacers prefer?
It’s a tough call on our end. Reddish probably has a higher upside. He’s younger and possesses more unique physical qualities. At the same time, Toppin has proven more at the highest level.
Either way, the Pacers come out winners here. In fact, that’s true in all three deals. Having acquired Haliburton, there’s really no reason to keep Brogdon around to step on his toes.
Any one of the 11th pick, Toppin or Reddish should be a better compliment for Haliburton. They play different positions, and they’re on his aging curve.

If the Knicks call the Pacers about Brogdon, they should certainly listen. Moving him may hurt in the short term, but it could pay dividends down the line.
