Kyle Anderson
If the Boston Celtics miss out on all of their true point guard targets, they could still address their need for a ball-handler and playmaker while also shoring up their wing depth by acquiring Kyle Anderson.
Slo Mo was a full-time point guard with the UCLA Bruins and has shown that’d be more than capable of doing the same in the NBA.
At 6’9 with a 7’3 wingspan and equipped with a silky handle, Anderson can get to any spot he wants on the court and can make any pass at any angle — albeit at his own pace. He’s never been tasked with being a starting point guard, but there’s no doubt that he’s equal to the task.
Adding his versatile offensive bag and defensive prowess would give the Celtics one of the most dangerous starting lineups in the league. Kyle Anderson would also give Boston another jumbo-sized wing to fill out their rotation, making them less dependent on Tatum and Brown.

Kyle Anderson will likely cost more than Boston’s $6 TPE, but he might be willing to take a small discount to try to win a title with larger role which could eventually guarantee him even more money.
