Jerami Grant
There was significant anticipation surrounding Jerami Grant’s name in trade rumors around the NBA’s midseason deadline, but he didn’t end up getting moved.
Jerami Grant’s impact diminished after Cade Cunningham was brought into the fold. No longer was Grant operating as the clear-cut top option in the half-court since Cunningham is the clear-cut star. With a high ball screen style approach, there was some clunkiness.
The Pistons are not going to want to part with Grant without getting a strong return though. It’s hard to find big wings that can shoot, make plays off the dribble, and have defensive versatility.
Some of the teams linked to Jerami Grant ahead of the NBA Draft include the Sacramento Kings (4th pick) and Portland Trail Blazers (7th pick). If they keep him through the draft, involving him in a Deandre Ayton sign-and-trade could be appealing.

Other teams that do not have a top 10 selection surely will be interested in putting together an enticing trade offer for the Pistons to give consideration.
