Brooklyn Nets Receive: G Immanuel Quickley, F Obi Toppin, C Nerlens Noel, G Derrick Rose, No. 11 Pick
New York Knicks Receive: G Kyrie Irving
If a trade that sends Kyrie Irving to the New York Knicks doesn’t involve Julius Randle, it would need to include some of their intriguing young players outside of RJ Barrett.
The return for the Nets would begin with Immanuel Quickley and Obi Toppin. Acquiring a guard talent like Irving would make it easier to part with Quickley. Meanwhile, keeping Randle in the fold to pair up with Irving makes it simple to include Toppin.
The veteran talents like Nerlens Noel and Derrick Rose could fill some immediate needs for the Nets, who seek to compete at a high level with Kevin Durant in the fold. Both of these players are on unfavorable contracts and were plagued with injuries in 2021-22.
Rose would bring an aggressive scoring punch with his ability to get into the paint — offering something Brooklyn has lacked. Noel would offer some shot-blocking, rebounding, and interior play finishing ability while most of their frontcourt players reach free agency this offseason.

The Nets still land a key draft asset in this trade scenario and doing so presents them with the same possibility as the previous deal. They can package the No. 11 overall pick with a few of their bigger contracts to add a new impact player.
