The NBA offseason is a time for the league’s teams to address their needs. If you didn’t win the NBA championship, chances are, you’re open to at least some amount of change.

The Charlotte Hornets are definitely a team with needs. They need to clear money off their books. With Miles Bridges hitting restricted free agency, and LaMelo Ball due for a rookie extension soon after, this group is about to get expensive.

The Hornets also need a center. Montrezl Harrell is a valuable reserve, but at 6’7, he’s not a viable starter at that position. Mason Plumlee is a high-end backup. This team needs to upgrade its presence in the interior.
