Toronto Raptors Receive: F Julius Randle, F Obi Toppin, F Cam Reddish, 2023 First-Round Pick (NYK)

Obviously, this deal is similar to the last one. Here, the Raptors opt for two quality young players in the absence of one draft pick.

Whether that’s a worthwhile trade-off depends on how the Raptors view Toppin and Reddish. The former would appear to fit right into their scheme. He’s a two-way ball-handling forward, and at 24, he’s still improving.

Reddish’s fit with Toronto is less clear. In theory, he’s a 3-and-D wing who provides some secondary shot creation as well. In practice, he hasn’t done any of those things at a high level on a regular basis in the NBA.

He’s still got a lot of potential. With that said, the Raptors front office may or may not count themselves in that group. Furthermore, they may not be open to trading Pascal under any circumstance.
