The NBA offseason tends to be a time when surprise developments take place. There’s been a lot of intrigue about what the Toronto Raptors are building, but it seems not everyone is on the same page at the moment.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, there’s been dissatisfaction from OG Anunoby with his role on the Raptors. He’s apparently not the only key player feeling that way.
“I’ve been hearing since March that OG Anunoby has been dissatisfied with his role in Toronto. And I mean, there’s a lot of guys dissatisfied with their roles in Toronto.”
Anunoby’s situation sounds relatively emblematic to Jerami Grant before signing with the Detroit Pistons in free agency. Both players have filled largely complementary roles but have greater aspirations as scorers.

The Denver Nuggets were also floated as a potential trade suitor for Anunoby in recent reporting. They are substantially more limited in what they can offer in comparison to the San Antonio Spurs.

There will be no shortage of potential trade suitors around the NBA interested in OG Anunoby if those trade rumors heat up more. The 6-foot-7 wing is set to turn 25 this summer and is coming off a season with averages of 17.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
