Sometimes, what you need most in life is a reunion with an old friend. Maybe you’ve fallen in desperate times. It may have turned out that the new friends you’d made were never really friends at all. Whatever the circumstances, you wish you could sit and chat with that familiar… Ok, enough of the pretense. We’re talking about NBA star D’Angelo Russell and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 2021-22 season was a disaster for the Lake Show. Russell Westbrook was entirely unable to fit in with LeBron James. Many predicted that the two wouldn’t complement each other.

The Lakers should consider shaking this roster up ahead of 2022-23. A reunion with old friend D’Angelo Russell would be a nice start.
