Golden State Warriors Receive: C Mitchell Robinson, G Evan Fournier, G Kemba Walker
The Golden State Warriors could be in search of multiple rotation pieces this offseason. They have seven players entering free agency, five of which, Kevon Looney, Otto Porter Jr., Gary Payton, Andre Iguodala, and Nemanja Bjelica, who have been in their rotation in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Retaining all of those players will be difficult, as their tax bill is soaring. That doesn’t yet include the rookie extension that Jordan Poole is eligible to sign this offseason as well. As a result, they could look to move on from Andrew Wiggins, picking up multiple rotation pieces in the process.
Wiggins is heading toward free agency himself in 2023 and there is a chance that Golden State will not be able to keep him. He is someone that could be used to fill out the roster this offseason, as such in this scenario with the New York Knicks.
In this hypothetical deal, they replace Looney with Mitchell Robinson as their starting center. Evan Fournier can factor into the mix on the wing, providing them with another long-range sniper after he knocked down 38.9 percent of his 3-pointers this season and set a Knicks franchise record with 241 makes.

Kemba Walker looked like he was on his last legs and was included just to help match salary. Another combination that could work is Derrick Rose and Alec Burks if the Warriors aren’t interested in Fournier and Walker.
A little more salary filler would have to be included along with Rose and Burks to make it work under the NBA’s salary cap rules.

For New York, Wiggins would provide them with another go-to scorer to help take the pressure off of RJ Barrett and Julius Randle. A prototypical 3-and-D player, Wiggins would be welcomed with open arms by Tom Thibodeau into the rotation.
