2 Perfect Offseason Trade Targets For The Sacramento Kings

Sacramento Kings, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Sacramento Kings set a dubious record this season, missing the postseason for the 16th consecutive year. That is an NBA record and something that the Kings want to desperately snap as soon as possible.

The only positive to come out of missing the playoffs this year was that the Kings moved up in the NBA Draft Lottery. They landed the No. 4 overall pick, which puts them in a great position to add some talent to the roster.

The fourth pick could net them another high-upside, young player to continue laying the foundation of the future. Or, they could make a trade package with that selection and seek out an established veteran to add to the mix.

Based on how the Kings conducted business at the trade deadline, they are likely leaning toward the latter. Sacramento traded Tyrese Haliburton as the centerpiece of a deal to the Indiana Pacers, receiving Domantas Sabonis in return. That swap likely shows their hand and what the plan is going forward.
