The Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets have one thing in common: both of their 2021-22 NBA seasons were ended by the Boston Celtics. The manner in which each ended could hardly be more different.

The Heat were eliminated from the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday. Surely, they’d hoped for better. It was still an excellent season they’ll look to build on for 2022-23.
