Outside of the sensational Luka Doncic, this team has plenty of quality rotation players who make meaningful contributions.

Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Maxi Kleber, Reggie Bullock, and others are all contender-worthy players. None of them quite qualify as a co-star.

The deeper the Mavericks advanced into these playoffs, the more sophisticated the opposing defenses they faced became.
