Los Angeles Lakers
Unlike the Atlanta Hawks, the Los Angeles Lakers don’t need to concern themselves with the salary cap. They have one priority, and it’s winning now.
Bogdanovic could aid that cause. In 2021-22, he scored 15.1 points per game on a solid 56.2 True Shooting % (TS%). His ability to create his own shot using crafty head fakes and dribble moves would benefit the Lakers no matter who remains on the roster.
He shouldn’t be too difficult to get either. Contractually speaking, Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn alone get the Lakers close. The Hawks should be attracted to Horton-Tucker’s expiring contract if they’re looking to clear cap room sooner than later.
Look for the Los Angeles Lakers to be linked to any remotely talented player that’s on the trade market this summer. Again, they should be operating with a sense of urgency. LeBron James is not getting any younger.

With that said, the acquisition of Bogdan Bogdanovic may be able to at least delay a grey hair or two for The King.
