The 2022 NBA offseason is going to be an intriguing one. With such a limited number of teams projected to have cap space, many people believe trades are going to be prevalent as it will be the only way many organizations can upgrade their rosters.

While there will certainly be several trades, there are still some very good players that will be available in free agency that will earn huge raises in a few weeks.

Two of those players are members of the 2018 NBA Draft class that are going to look to cash in.

No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton is set to enter restricted free agency. He and the Phoenix Suns were unable to agree on a rookie extension before the season, so now he will be able to test the market. Is there a team willing to pay him the max that Suns’ ownership is hesitant to give him?

LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Could Spurs Be Perfect Zach LaVine Landing Spot?

From the second round, Jalen Brunson is in line for a huge payday. The Dallas Mavericks selected him in the second round that season, No. 33 overall. But, because the contract he signed was non-guaranteed the last season, not an option, he is an unrestricted free agent, not restricted.

Brunson is arguably the best point guard hitting the market this offseason. The other player that can stake a claim to that title is Kyrie Irving. The polarizing point guard has a player option for the 2022-23 season that he could decline in hopes of landing a lucrative new deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

Where may these players end up? Let’s take a look at the top landing spots for these soon-to-be star free agents.
