The Charlotte Hornets are a team that should be looking to make a splash this NBA offseason. They have made some strides in recent seasons, but they need to get aggressive to take advantage of the situation they are currently in.

The Hornets have made the NBA Play-In Tournament two straight years but have gotten eliminated in the first game both times in blowout fashion. In 2021, the Indiana Pacers handled them easily and this year it was the Atlanta Hawks.

Despite winning 10 more games this season than last, head coach James Borrego was still fired earlier this offseason. A new person will be leading the team on the court starting in the 2022-23 season, and they will hopefully have some new players on the roster.

The Hornets have a superstar in the making in LaMelo Ball at the point guard position. Miles Bridges broke out during the 2021-22 season. There are some solid complementary pieces as well as Charlotte is on the right path.
