Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: G Devonte’ Graham
New Orleans Pelicans Receive: F Cedi Osman, G/F Dylan Windler, 2025 second-round pick (via Milwaukee Bucks)

In this proposed trade, the Cleveland Cavaliers would swap Cedi Osman, Dylan Windler, and a future second-rounder for Devonte’ Graham.

Graham joined the New Orleans Pelicans last offseason as an option to help space the floor. Despite a decent season, Graham saw his role usurped by surprise un-drafted rookie Jose Alvarado.

No longer needed on this Pelicans squad, Graham can still provide a scoring boost to any team. He’d fit well in Cleveland, which proved to have a one-dimensional offense during a tough Play-In.

Graham is a solid passer, averaging 4.2 assists this past season while mostly playing off-ball. He had a down year by his standards from three, shooting 34.1%. His two prior seasons of 37+% shooting from deep inspire confidence that he can get back to that level, though.

In the deal, the Cavaliers would part with two rotation wings in Osman and Windler. Osman provided 10.7 points per game in just 22.2 minutes per game this season. He was mostly a reserve for Cleveland, but he played a key role. Wings are king in the NBA, and Osman is a serviceable one, providing off-ball scoring and effective defense.

Dylan Windler wasn’t much of a contributor, though he did play a similar role to Osman. Windler played just under 10 minutes per game, scoring just 2.2 ppg. It’s possible he could develop into a player of Osman’s caliber, but he’s not there just yet.
