Chicago Bulls Receive: F Tobias Harris, G/F Matisse Thybulle, 2023 First-Round Pick (PHI), 2026 First-Round Pick (PHI), 2028 First-Round Pick (PHI)
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Zach LaVine

The Philadelphia 76ers would likely need to send away Tobias Harris in a deal where they take on another max player. Harris is one of the Sixers’ highest-paid players, and despite a solid playoff performance is an iffy fit next to Embiid.

Adding in Matisse Thybulle would give Chicago another defensive stopper to add to their rotation. Though Thybulle has struggled to find his way offensively, his defensive talent is generational. He deserves a shot to continue finding his way offensively and could turn into an elite two-way player.

The three first-round picks is what really sweetens the deal for Chicago. It would be tough for the Sixers to part with so much draft capital, but the addition of LaVine would ensure they’re contending deep in the playoffs every season.

A five-year max for LaVine would extend through 2028, so the Sixers would only be missing picks along the timeline of their LaVine-Maxey-Embiid core.
