New York Knicks Receive: G Coby White
Washington Wizards Receive: F Cam Reddish, G Miles McBride, F Javonte Green
Chicago Bulls Receive: F Kyle Kuzma
Here’s a deal that probably only works for the Washington Wizards if they are, in fact, rebuilding.
After all, nobody could say that Cam Reddish has produced at as high a level in the NBA as Kuzma so far.
Still, his upside is much younger. He’s not far removed from being the top high school prospect in the country. It’s entirely possible that he hasn’t found the right NBA environment to thrive yet.
If the Wizards trade Beal in a separate transaction, they could provide that environment. Meanwhile, the Knicks need a point guard. They don’t seem to be using Reddish anyway, so flipping him for another young player who plays a position of need in White feels appropriate.

Finally, the Chicago Bulls get their man in Kuzma. Of course, all of this assumes that they’re able to retain Zach LaVine in free agency. If they’re not, they’ll have bigger concerns at hand than landing Kyle Kuzma.
In all likelihood, they’ll have to trigger a rebuild of their own.
