New Orleans Pelicans Receive: F Miles Bridges (via sign-and-trade), G Terry Rozier, F/C P.J. Washington, 2022 First-Round Pick (via NOP), Two Future First-Round Picks
This trade was put together over at Bleacher Report by Zach Buckley. Fresh trade deals were put together for the eight teams that were eliminated from the 2022 NBA Postseason in the first round. So, this deal is made from the perspective of the New Orleans Pelicans, who lost in six games to the Phoenix Suns.
New Orleans has to think long and hard about what to do with Zion Williamson. There have been a lot of reports about not being on the same page with the organization and his family wants him out of New Orleans. If they come to the conclusion they cannot commit to him, trading him for a haul of players makes sense.
That is what they decide in this scenario, as Williamson heads to Charlotte with Devonte’ Graham and Jaxson Hayes. Graham spent the first three seasons of his career in Charlotte before heading to the Pelicans in a sign-and-trade last offseason. Hayes could address their needs in the middle.
Despite the injury concerns, the price to land Williamson isn’t cheap. They agree to a deal with Miles Bridges and he is included as part of a sign-and-trade. Terry Rozier is coming along as well, providing some much-needed defense on the perimeter. P.J. Washington is a versatile big man that can play either frontcourt spot.

The three first-round picks add to the treasure trove that New Orleans already has from the Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday deals. They would have a ton of lottery tickets on prospects in the future or trade ammunition for big deals.
