Making the Case: Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have a very lopsided roster, with talented guards and bigs but a shortage of high-end wings. In this trade, they’d be sending out one veteran forward in Harrison Barnes in return for two younger swingmen in Max Strus and Duncan Robinson.
This deal would give Sacramento two bona fide snipers who could help space the floor around the De’Aaron Fox-Domantas Sabonis pick-and-roll.
Not only are both Strus and Robinson comfortable spotting up behind the arc, but they’ve also grown accustomed to running dribble handoffs and shooting on the go playing in Miami’s ball movement-centric offense.
While Robinson’s the bigger name coming into the Kings, Strus is the real crown jewel in this theoretical acquisition. Still only 25 years old, he’s already an elite shooter and solid defender with size and budding guard skills. Strus gives Sacramento another potential cornerstone to build around.

The Kings — an already defense-deficient team — would have to worry about losing perhaps their strongest stopper in Harrison Barnes. Strus is a fine defender and has the size and strength necessary to guard multiple positions, but Duncan Robinson would add another poor defender to a roster chock full of them.
Still, for a team severely lacking in wing depth, this trade would be a fine solution to grab two solid ones.
