Before the season, Damian Lillard has been highly durable, both in the regular season and playoffs. Despite being unable to get the Portland Trail Blazers to the finals, Lillard has excellent experience in big games and is not afraid of the moment.
Think about the duo that would be created. If some thought that the idea of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant playing together was scary, Lillard might take that to a new level.
Offensively, this would be the best duo we have seen in quite some time. Lillard can do it all offensively and has turned into one of the best shooters. We all know what Durant can do on that end of the floor.

The Nets know that there have to be fewer distractions to win a championship, and players have to remain on the floor. If they believe Lillard can bounce back from his injury, this deal is worth making
